HI ALL,
I HAVE JUST NOW CLEARLY UNDERSTAND THE TEMPERATURE LOADING CALCULATIONS,
CAN ANYONE CLARIFY ME, IS IT RIGHT TO APPLY THE LOAD ALL OVER THE STRUCTURE
BECAUSE I FOUND A STAAD MODEL, IN WHICH THEY HAVE APPLIED THE LOAD ONLY ON ROOF AND COLUMN MEMBERS AND NOT ON FLOOR MEMBERS
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Dear user,
There is as such no rule where you should apply the temperature load. You should apply the temperature load to the members which are subjected to temperature change. So, if your floors are not going to experience any temperature change then you may not apply temp load to them.
