MAXIMUM LIMITS ON FOOTING DIMENSIONS HAVE BEEN REACHED.) while the footing depth is 1 m and the straining actions is very low. while solving to&nbsp;British code is somehow reasnable. This version computes the footing size as 1.45 m X 1.45 m for the British code, and 1.25 m x 1.25 m for the Eurocode.</p> <p>In this version as in past versions, the development length required for flexural bars is used as a criteria to determine the minimum footing size. But since that criteria is based solely on a straight bars and doesn&#39;t consider the possibility of bends or hooks, it is overly conservative due to which we have recently removed this condition as a criteria.
