I have designed a steel structure in Staad pro, No errors are found but in output file some members are getting failed. I dont have any ideas in passing those members. If I change section of those members other members are getting failed. please sort me out from this and also how to optimize the structure.

There were lot of redundant parameter commands in the designIf you use SELECT OPTIMIZED you should follow that up with a PERFORM ANALYSIS and CHECK CODE. Please refer to the technical reference for details.You should also enter FIXED GROUP to group similar memberYou need to use design parameters ( unbraced lengths, Unbraced lengths for compression flanges etc.) to control the design. Check out the list of design parameters specific to the Indian design code.You may need to run multiple design cycles to get all members to pass.You should design for only load combinations
I have attached a modified file which you may use as a guideline. However first you need to add the design parameters and group commands.
Also please ensure that you are using the latest version of STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition ( 22.02.00.26)
