Hi,
I need the member information in Tabular form for selected members.
Look below,For example for these 4 member, forces needs to be resolved in Horizontal n Vertical direction.
For this, Information needed.
Bye
To get the analysis results for the some specific members only, go to the Postprocessing workflow -> Results -> Select Load Case -> Range and provide the member numbers in the Beams/Plates/Solids field to show the analysis results for those members only.
I need to know the member information in Tabular Form for example :Member node number along its coordinates.
Like in above figure, i need to resolve Inclined members forces of 1 n 2 in horizontal n vertical direction. How it can be done ?
You can use these commands in the input file to print the required data into the Output file:
PRINT MEMBER INFORMATION LIST <memb_number>PRINT JOINT COORDINATES LIST <node_number>
You can use command PRINT MEMBER FORCES GLOBAL LIST <memb_number> to print the member end forces in the global coordinate system.
Thanks for your reply.
Getting any results in OUTPUT file needs, pre-define member list in INPUT file. Else file needs to re-run.
Is there any other way to avoid re-running model, by extracting results from "Post Processing" or from "Report" ??
You can only see the results ( and this applies to Output file, Postprocessing tables & Reports) after the model is analyzed. If the model is analyzed and you have not made any change to it, there is no need to re-run. However if you have made any change and have saved the file, you have to re-run the analysis to get the results in any form.
Sir, the type of information i am trying to extract is not dependent of "software Input" file. As i am am looking at any information, which needs the alteration in "INPUT". Hence as per my understanding, software algorithm must not require re-running the model.
I was looking for such capability as these type of features are available in other commercial softwares.
