I get an error that a beam is "supporting itself" when in fact it is supported on both ends by other beams. One of these is recently offset 5" from a column center. This seems to have triggered the error. I tried to re-draw the beam and adjust the ends, but nothing seems to be working. I cannot find any information about this type of error.
This happens where the framing creates a pin-wheel (beam 208 supports 210 supports 158 supports 197 supports 208 for example)
I'm fairly certain this is not the case, because both supporting beams are supported on columns. However, as I mentioned, this error was triggered after offsetting one of the supporting beams by 5" to the column. So the beam with the error is no offset, but one of its ends is on a beam that is. I hope this is clear enough. I can try attaching an image if not.
Yes, either send the file, or an image (or track the load path from beam to beam).
Now it is saying that those offset beams are supporting themselves.
