Good day, i have a project to design which is made of reinforced concrete. The first floor layout is different from the second floor layout. most of the columns on the second floor layouts are starting from a beam. what is the easiest way to model this type of structure because most of my beams are being broken.
i have another steel beam with a secondary beam resting on the primary beam in the picture. Beam 10, 52, and 78 are supposed to be one member but staad pro split them into three because of the secondary (beam 6&7) beam resting on it. If i merge beam 10,52 and 78 to become just one member staad will tell me i have multiple members. now if i leave it the way it is and i design it with the connect edition version i would get different sections which is making me think staad pro is designing member by member. Is there a command that can tell staad pro CE to form member like the steel design module in previous versions of staad pro, so i can get a practical member size
