I am trying to use the load combination generator but it is not generating load combinations with user defined wind load cases and notional loads. If I turn notional loads off or toggle to include them only with gravity loads the generator includes wind load combinations. If all load cases are checked and I toggle to include with lateral load combinations, no wind load combinations are generated. This seems to only be an issue in models with semirigid diaphragms only. Is there a setting I need to change to make this work?
Is this your own load combination template or one installed with the program?
One installed with the program. I'm using STEEL_LRFD Template IBC 2015 / ASCE 7-10 LRFD.
It's working OK for me. Confirm the wind load is, in fact, "Wind" type and not other. Also check the direction alignment setting for Notional Loads.
It is wind type and still won't work when I try to include notional loads in direction of lateral load. Can I send you this model?
