Does the physical modeler support compression only supports?
When modeling it is clearly an option and can be modeled that way, but when the analysis is run the supports draw load in either direction. Repeat loads are not supported by the physical modeler, but primary load cases draw load in both directions also. Even after deleting the load combinations and adding them to the end of the input file as repeat loads the problem remains. Is there a work around?
The compression only supports are supported in the Physical Modeler. As you understand, the loads have to be combined using the REPEAT LOAD command when moving it to the Analytical Modeler. This can be achieved by going to File -> Options -> Analysis Model and selecting the Combination Method as REPEAT Primary Load Cases in the Physical Modeler. Make sure that you are using STAAD.Pro CE version 22.02.00.26 as only this version supports Repeat Loads in the SPPM.
