How to Adjust Block Size in Staad Pro Editor

Hello there,

I wonder if there is a way to adjust the block size in Staad Pro Editor. When I use the Collapse/Expand command, the editor closes/expands the block which is not the size we're looking for.

Thanks,

Wenqing

  • Hi Sye,

Please see the screenshot below. I wonder if I can make DEFINE ELEVELOPE … END DEFINE ENVELOPE as one block by dragging the points as arrows point out. When using Collapse command, we can  only see “DEFINE ENVELOPE”. It seems Staad Pro Editor internally set up some rules to determine these start point and end point of these blocks automatically. Is there a manual way to do or what kinds of rules can we learn from and follow up with?

    Thanks,
    Wenqing
