Hello,
I've been working on my RAM Elements file, with 3D structure and I almost finished half of my base plates design using RAM Connection module. Sadly part of my data was lost today for unknown reason after losing connection with file?. When I try to assign again error is showing ("Connection "b6730d92-ab2f-4564-84f9-83b77ecf9fec" does not exist") and nothing can be done. Assigning works only for nodes that I wasn't work on yet (so f.eg. 222)
You can try the .bak or .fem files (rename each to something.retx). See also https://communities.bentley.com/products/ram-staad/w/structural_analysis_and_design__wiki/42114/file-corruption-after-conversion---access-violation
It helps partially, but there are still some nodes that I can not work with, I don't have 'older' *.bak file. Is there any other solution for this? Probably deleting part of model and recreate but I want to avoid it.
ok, there is new version of programs without error, I've not seen that in respond, sorry.
I will send you a link. It won't fix files already corrupted. Version 16.1 is due out soon, so upgrade to that when it comes.
