Is using longitudinal offset for column changes internal forces imported from RAM Elements used for calculations (adding M22 or M33 - depending on column position - from Axial and Brace force)? I have Column with left brace but I don't want to have big plate not cut off on right side of column and anchors in-between flanges of column:
Using offset for 2,5in makes RAM Conn. not showing any results. Should additional M22 moment be added manually?
Make sure the option to consider strain compatibility is on when designing eccentrically loaded base plates.
Consider Strain Capatibility option is on
Pressure distribution triangular is not working either
Only additional moment works.
Does the program give any warnings in the lower right area or on the report? Or maybe you could send the file.
