Dears,
Concerning the design of RC beams in a PT slab, i am trying to determine the most accurate way to design the beams (determining top and bottom reinforcement). in Ram concept all design procedure is based on design section analysis. i prefer designing beams as T beam section in order to enlarge the beam loading strip. the issue is that beam reinforcement output take into consideration all reinforcement existing in the slab therefor beams reinforcement section is lesser than the one expected.
is it more accurate to design the beams while there is no reinforcement in the slab???
Thank you.
You may consult this company https://www.eforce-pt.com/ they are specialized in designing & executing Post Tension slabs. They are present in Singapore, UAE, KSA & Egypt.
Does e-force use Ram Concept software? I don't see any Ram Concept licenses there, though many of the PT suppliers do carry a license for design work.
