I am calculating base plate for tension 900 kn.I am providing 6 nos AB C/C both direction @ 150mm c/c. And column size is W-600X10,Flange-350X16,For this tensoin per AB is 150 kn.and moment arm
(AB c/c-web th)/2 .i.e (150-10)/2=70 mm,and moment becomes 0.15X70=10.5kN*m, and beff becomes 140mm. which matches exactly with ram connection calculation.
which you can see in the above image.
But while I am providing AB c/c 200mm in one direction keeping 150mm c/c in longitudinal direction the calculation doesn't match.100 mm from web center line both side.As per this situation moment arm should be (200-10)/2=95 mm,and moment should be 0.15X95=14.25kN*m, and beff should be 190mm. But ram connection calculates other.

Here .rcnx file also attached. Why for second option Moment and Beff does not match ?
Your custom sections did not come across. I'll try to recreate it from the image. Meanwhile here are some basics: RAM Connection Base Plate FAQ All the cases I have reviewed lately were for bolts outside the column shape.
It looks like once the bolt to bolt vertical spacing is less than the bolt to column web distance the program considers the combined action like this sketch:
Then how the moment arm calculated for Mstrip ?
Gentle reminder.....
