I have a rigid frame in both directions. How do I get RAM to give the proper Kx and Ky factors , right now the K factor box is grayed out and only Kx & Ky for braces is shown as 1
For steel structures with modern US code we are using the Direct Analysis approach and not K factors. You would have to revert to an old code to expose K factor assignments on Columns. Some users have requested this override in later codes and an enhancement request was logged.
