I have a problem regarding pipe support displacement.
The resulting lateral displacement is very large about 32mm.
But when I modeled as FEM the resulting displacement is lower
about 11mm.
Please can i assume that FEM is more applicable and more accurate
in this type of sccenario.

In the model that is made up of beam elements add "SET WARP 1" near the beginning. Right before "JOINT COORDINATES". Are the results of the two files in better agreement now?
