What is the application that should be associated with the Physical Model file STDP?
The STDP files are not intended to be used as a standalone file, but rather in conjunction with an associated STP (STAAD Input file). The STDP file contains the physical model data utilized by the physical modeler, but the physical modeler requires that the project be opened in STAAD.Pro first. It will then detect the presence of the STDP file and prompt if you want to open the physical modeling workflow.
So, in short, you do not need to associate any program with this file type for Windows as STAAD.Pro will manage the files within the application.

The problem I am having is that if I do something that crashes the model the Physical model will not open. I can do a clean install and get it to work again. Any suggestiions?
Hello Mike,
May I know the version number you are using. Also, is there any error message before crashing or when you are opening STAAD.Pro? If yes, please give a screen shot.
STAAD.Pro Advanced CONNECT Edition - Version 22.02.00.26
