How can I hide members for printing different views? For example, I have a truss bridge model and I want to print schematic views to be used for field inspection, and I want a view of the top chords only (highlighted in red in the attached photos), but from the 'top view,' intermediate and lower chords are visible. Is there a way to hide members so only the selection will print?
Yes you can do that. First select the members and display only those members in the view. Subsequently click anywhere inside the view window. Right click and chose Print Current View ( you may choose Print Preview Current View too if you would like to preview before printing it)
How do you display only the selected members?

Select the members. Once these are highlighted, choose the option below
Alternatively, select the members, right click, choose New View and choose any of the options you want.
