Sirs, I want to convert Staad file into SACS files but the message says "The macro can only be run with valid Staad model loaded". I use valid Staad model. Why I get that message. Thanks
What version of SACS? What version of STAAD.Pro? Do you have the full set of Staad files or just the input file?
this is how i do mine,click on TOOLS====> USER TOOLS===> EXPORT MODEL TO SACS====> select the directory to save it, then go the director and add the SACS input extension, for instance if the file STAADPRO created for u was called "TITLE"" , locate the directory and change it to "sac.inp
this works for me,
however a better solution could be given if someone else has

WHAT I DO IS,
IMPORT FROM AUTOCAD
ASSIGN PROPERTY
SAVE
CLOSE STAAD
RE-OPEN STAAD,
EXPORT TO SACS
