Hi, I have a doubt in STAADP.ro CE about how can I implement the factor Bheta 1 and Bheta 2 in Steel Design (Appendix 8 AISC 360-16).
I know that it possible to perform P-Delta Analysis, but for seismic design with modal analysis/response spectra, I think to use Bheta factor it is more reliable approach.
So, What does it the simple way to implement this requirement? Exist a parameter or I have to modify the load combination factor?

The approximate second order analysis method of Appendix 8 is not implemented in STAAD.Pro and so if you would like to use the beta 1 and beta 2 factors, then these would have to be manually calculated and applied to the results from a first order analysis.
