The male eye pad (lug) of one member fits in the 2 female lugs of another member and a high strength pin is inserted through 3 lugs. A lock spring is inserted in the pin so as pin not to come out.How do I model this joint in staad ?Moreover, if I give an offset to a member in staad, does the design of that member be done according to that offset?Does this joint to be designed manually? (Like the thickness of lug plates, Pin size etc)PDF
