The latest update doesn't provide solution for the previous bad update that prevent open big STAAD file after running analysis. it only can be opened if there is no result files in the folder(i.e. after the analysis complete i have to go to the folder and delete the generated result files in order to open the file again) what a mess you are doing Bentley? why you don't let the previous guys who built STAAD before to do the update and fire all the new non-professional team who are learning programming and mess with STAAD every update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you please upload the model here or if you have created a Service Request and that already has the model attached, can you please provide the service request number.
Can you please confirm that you are using the latest STAAD.Pro ver 23.03.00.28 version ? I am asking because we were not able to replicate the issue when running your model in our machine using ver 23.03.00.28. Also are you using the STAAD.Pro or the STAAD.Pro Advanced license?
Also can you please try the steps below and let me know
1. Create a new folder in your local machine
2. Copy ONLY the .std file into that folder ( do not do a Save As from within STAAD.Pro but use File Explorer to copy the .std file)
3. Try running the analysis and see if you still have the same problem.
