why is staad selecting me large steel section for me

Good day my fellow staad users. I am currently designing a steel portal on staad pro. i noticed that when i use the select command, it selects larger section than when i use my hand to design it myself.using BS 5950 2000

for example rafter size manual steel size : UB 533X201X122

                     staad will provide :UB914x 419x388

stanchion size manual UC 254X254x107

staad will provide UC 356X368X153

is there any way i can go about it to give me an economical member size ?
