Does anybody designed Gantry crane using STAAD.Pro?
Can anybody explain how can i assign whole surface of the rail on the ground as fixed? do i need to divide the rail in to small parts and assigned those nodes as fixed?
or do i need to design Gantry crane and rail on the bottom separately? If i do so, assigning pinned supports at gantry crane column is a right way of approaching? But i cant see in STAAD.Pro anyway of assigning a beam surface as fixed like in other softwares.
Does anybody have a design of gantry crane STAAD file? I will be very greatful if someone can share with me
