I am currently designing an aluminium frame within STAAD Pro Series 6 and I am trying to access the database shown below:
This table forms part of the Aluminium database within STAAD which details the yield strength etc. of different types of aluminium alloy. Can anyone tell me how to access this database?

This would be the "aluminumsections.mdb" file within the installation folder C:\SProV8i SS6\STAAD\Sections

Hi Sye. In STAAD.Pro Connect Ed., i found that the alum. material database can be found in the SD Manager. One question though is that the mechanical properties seems to be undervalued as compare with the specifications. For example, 6061-T6 in the database has an Ftu and Fty (& Fsu) of only 24 and 15ksi resp. whereas if I refer to say for example MMPDS-04, the Ftu and Fty value for the same alloy is 42 and 35ksi. Could you please check and advise on this. Thank you.
