Hi. I have a K-brace (inverted V) modeled in RAM Structural System. When I check Frame story shears, I see a high horizontal shear due to gravity live and dead loads. I tried disabling P-delta but this did not help. What other reasons could be causing this issue? This only occurs at a couple of the floors and not all. thanks
Eccentricity of gravity loads, or something tipping the structure to one side like a stepped foundation, soft support, etc. Check the deflected shape for a better understanding.
