Saad Pro

Is there any way in Staad pro to design slim floor beam SFB where the Slab floor rests on the lower flange

  • The beam in your original picture seemed like a wide flange. More importantly even for a Tee, you are not applying load specifically to the bottom flange because a tee, or any other type of beam cross section, is still represented by a line element and you can only apply the load to the cross section as a whole and cannot specifically apply the load on one of the elements of that cross section.

    On a different note,

    Your member load syntax shows
    1 UNI GY -4 0 0 0.05

If you need to apply the load for the entire length, you would need to change this to
    1 UNI GY -4 0 10 0.05
