Hello all, I am using the wind load generator to apply the wind force on the structure, one problem that I am facing is tha, it seems that STAAD ignore this area while calculating the wind force and I can not find why is that . can someone help me to include this area instead of ignoring it ??TEST9.STD
I think this issue occurs due to the coordinates of some nodes. I.e. the coordinates of node 122 are 65.8001 3.00001 6.00002. This very small decimal value somehow affects the wind load generation in some locations. Try to round the coordinates to 65.8 3.0 6.0. The same process should be done for nodes 123, 894, 895, 911, 912 as well as nodes 124, 125, 896, 897, 913 and 914. I am not sure why this is affecting these 2 areas of the model only, however, the proposed workaround should take care of this wind generation issue.
I believe that the Base Unit is set to English instead of Metric in the Configuration which is opened from the start up page of STAAD.Pro. If your Base Units are set to English, but you do the modeling in metric units, the coordinates are converted from one system to the other which leads to some very small decimal values in the input file. To avoid this, you should set the Base Unit system to be the same as the unit system used during the modeling.

Hello Modestas, I fixed the coordinates but It still ignores some areas, I tried to generate the wind using the ranges or the list command but still doesn't work, Would really appreciate it if you have another suggestion. Trial1.STD
That's a strange issue indeed. I was able to add the missing wind load once I added one more Wind Load in LC11 with range Y 0 8; range X 65 66; range Z 6 12.
Yes it is very strange, I tried to delete the last frame and generate the wind on the frame that is behind it and it worked well but with the last frame it ignores some areas. I will add it separately, as you mentioned, within this area. Thank you very much for your help and support.
