Trying open RAM SBeam and get the following "Unable to Display Notifications". Program will not allow loads to be placed on beam.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled...........same issue. Ran repair, same issue.
Any recommendations?
It's just the news feed, and there hasn't been much news about SBeam lately, so I would ignore it. I have found fixing it to be tricky, usually requiring a manual registration of dll files.
Its not just the news feed......the program will not run. I can input the beam span
but that is all. Loads cannot be applied.
That's very strange, if you open the demo file does it work (one sample below)? I wonder if the problem is with the OpenGL graphics of the beam. If so, these tips might help (updating drivers, etc): https://communities.bentley.com/products/ram-staad/w/structural_analysis_and_design__wiki/7207/ram-ss-3d-viewer-faq
