Having trouble finding the analysis folder for staad foundation advance. I have 0 warnings and have some errors just to check where i went wrong. But the analysis is completed and it says that the design ended. Please help if its okay to continue given the design that i have with errors.
If you can attach the SFA file to this post, we can have a look and let you know what's causing the error. We'll need the version number of SFA you are running it on.
If you want to investigate the error on your own, do this. In the folder where the SFA file is located, you will find a sub-folder having the same name as the first part of the name of the SFA file. Two levels under that sub-folder, you will find a .STD and an .ANL file. The .ANL file is the output file. If you double-click on the ANL file, it should open using the STAAD Output viewer. If it doesn't, you should be able to open it using Notepad. If that too fails, open the STD file using STAAD.Pro, and view the output file and search for warnings and errors.
In version 9.2.0.34 of SFA, the ANL file can be opened using an icon for that purpose on the Home menu.
I stiil can't find the file with .std or .anl file on my saving directory
An STD and ANL file is created only for mat and machine foundations. You won't find them for isolated footings, combined footings, or, pilecaps.
