I have a physical model in STAAD.Pro CE as shown in the first image. The central portion of the surface disappears when I view/generate an analytical model (second image). How do I bring the whole model to the analytical model space?
Also, beams under the slab are not segmented in the analytical model event though the "Segment Members" checkbox is checked.
Thank you Sye!
If you are not using the latest STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition ver 22.04.00.40, I would suggest doing that. I am using the same version and I am able to see the full top slab in the analytical model. The beams underneath did not get segmented in your analytical model because the end nodes for these beams were off by a very small amount from the plane of the top slab Y=0. I have changed the Y coordinates for these nodes to zero and now the beams are getting segmented. A modified file is attached for your reference.
