I am modeling a rectangular concrete box culvert that has a 12 inch haunch as part of it's structure at each corner, how can one add the haunch to the analyses structure. Your advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is a diagram of what I am trying to describe.
I am assuming you are using mesh of plates to model the culvert. As an approximation you may model the shape as shown next. The line diagram represents the center line of the plates. You may use a slightly higher thickness for the plates representing the fillet.
