2350.Portal Frame.STD

Dear All Respected

When i move from model to Steel AutoDrafter then showing "Error Reading Staad File"
Another issue few member property are not shown
Would you pls advice how can i overcome on above issue

    Hi

    Steel AD doesn't support tapered sections. When the tapered section is used as column, generally one face is constant and other face become tapered. Similarly for Beams, the top flange is straight and bottom flange  become tapered. these are some limitation in reading tapered section thus not supported by Steel AD.

    in next release of STAAD (Update-5), Steel AD will read the tapered section with average dimensions of web and flange. 

    in future, we will try to add the actual tapered section with some assumptions/inputs from users.
