I am doing cable analysis to find out the reactions to design the base plate. But I am getting reactions only in y-direction. There should be also some reactions in the x-direction. Kindly guide.Staad file is also attached.
The cable is only for an aesthetic look.

Yes there should be. I am seeing reactions in X direction. Please make sure that you are using the latest STAAD.Pro CONNECT edition ver 22.04.00.40 and make sure that you have the STAAD.Pro Advanced license as Advanced Nonlinear Cable analysis is part of that license.

I have checked with staad pro advance but the reactions are coming with an extreme value like 66kn along x. There is no any weight on the cable only self-weight is considered. Kindly explain to me why reactions are so conservative.
Also, guide me on what value of initial tension I should consider. The cable will be used o2678.Structure111111.stdnly for an aesthetic look. If there is any need to modify it. Kindly do , It will be really very appreciated.staad File is also attached
