Hello, I am modeling a panel with significantly large openings. I was using the simplified method and the panel was working properly. However, when I changed to FEM the panel design was not good. I checked both reports and I see that segment 16, combination D12 shows a significant difference in stress ratio from one method to the other. The simplified method shows 0.39 when FEM shows 1.48. I was hoping that someone could share some information on why there is a significant discrepancy in the results of both methods. Thank you and have a nice day
Report files for both cases have been uploaded along with the actual RAM Elements tilt-up panel design file.
I'm only seeing the reports. Please try adding the file again, maybe as a .zip file.

You are getting some large tensile stresses, forces that control the design when using FEM approach.
Those would not occur using the simplified approach.
The simplified approach might be fine for this model, since it's practically a moment frame anyway. If you are going to go with the FEM approach I would recommend a smaller mesh for sure. This is set in the Advanced options and I would recommend 8".
