Sir,
I attached a STAAD model. After analysis of this model I go through the design of columns with RCDC. Effective length factor calculated by RCDC is attached in paint file. For ground floor this factor is very high for one axis of every column. Why?
Is here any mistake by me in STAAD model?
or any mistake by me in design by RCDC?
Two more thing I want to know that
1. If in any STAAD model Y coordinate (Y up) of all support nodes is above 0.00 like 1.00m (due to some corrections in model) or below 0.00 like -1.0m then here will be any effect of this on analysis and design?
2. Height of column below plinth should be added to height of columns of ground floor or not in following two conditions:
1. If plinth beam is not provided, only 6" height DPC with nominal reinforcement provided.
2. If plinth beam is provided.
