Hey, is there a way to separate the self-weight of the column from the DL takedown, I just want to know the total DL excluding the self weight of the column itself?

Since this forum supports multiple analysis/design software it would be helpful if you indicate which software the question is related to. If your question is related to STAAD.Pro, you may assign the selfweight command to all members excluding the columns and the statics check would give you the total weight without the columns.
