Hi guys! I need to design a box girder type bridge but I dont know how to model that in Staad :(((. Can someone teach me how to model a box girder bridge? and once the bridge is modeled, what's the next step? I'm entirely clueless about this one. Thank you :)
You can model the box girder using the plate elements, then perform the analysis of it and design the structure manually using the forces and stresses of the analysis results. However, Bentley has a dedicated application for the bridge analysis and design, which I think would be a better solution for you: https://www.bentley.com/en/products/product-line/bridge-analysis-software
