Question

I am not able to use the RAM DataAccess Library in the excel. It says the the library is missing inside the macro.

 Instructions: Unzip this with 7-zip into the old location for RamDataAccess x86: 
 C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Bentley\Engineering\RAMDataAccess_2_0 
 (create this folder if it is not present) 
 To register the dll, open a command window with Administrator privileges . Navigate to the location of the dll (path above) and issue regsrv32 ramdataaccess.dll . 
 To unregister the dll (once an solution to use the x64 dll is reached) do the same but issue regsrv32 /u ramdataaccess.dll.

RAM SS v17.01 did not install the 32bit version of RAM DataAccess; it only installed the 64bit version. If your applications were using the 32bit version from previous versions of RAM SS, your applications would stop working, as you described. RAM SS v17.02 now installs both the 32bit and the 64bit versions of RAM DataAccess, so the problem should now be resolved, if you update to RAM SS v17.02 (it won't be necessary to perform the steps outlined above for restoring the 32bit version!). Please note that we no longer support a 32bit version of RAM SS; it is likely that at some point in the future we will have to stop supporting the 32bit version of RAM DataAccess, so I recommend that you transition to the 64bit version.

If you are using RAM SS v17.01.01.05 then you will either need to update to a 64 bit version of Excel (preferred) or I can try to upload some 32 bit dlls for you.

I think there are some other files that need to be co-located with RamDataAccess.dll to work. This may be overkill, but extract all the files from the 7z archive below to the same folder. Note, you will probably have to extra the files elsewhere and then copy the extracted files to the directory with admin override. https://bentley.sharefile.com/d-se97c4600b6b54b7 Then try the registration command again.
