I have a mild reinf transfer beam in line with a banded tendon group in a pt slab. The transfer beam is designed for all loads (column load above and adjacent slab tributary loads). The PT band will continue along the transfer beam only to maintain min P/A and it could have a slight drape. How do I model the design strip(s) for this transfer beam? Thank-you
I assume you will have a design strip dedicated to the beam, as wide as a beam ought to be, and not considered as PT. If the next span is a PT 2-way slab strip the program might give you a warning, but that's fine.
