Hello,
I am struggling to define floor load to the top of the roof in the structure attached. I keep getting Y range issues. Can someone please help me with that.
I even tried assigning a group to the roof and then applying floor load at the roof but then I keep getting load generation error.
Thanks

Since the roof has slopes, you have to use floor group and check the inclined floor option. You have eight different slopes in the roof and need to define separate floor groups for each. Also it is better to avoid using the word FLOOR in the group name.
Hey Sye, Thank You for the response. I created a random model with one plane and created roof1 group. I tried to use floor only for that one group now and I see the same issue. Can you please check this revised version. All the points in this roof 1 are on one plane only.

The floor loading seem to work fine on the group _ROOF1. Please make sure that you are using the latest STAAD.Pro 22.04.00.40.
Hey Sye,
I have version 22.03.00.28. In that version its still showing me "Cannot Generate Load for command". Did you make any modification in the model I provided or its exactly same just with 1 version higher?
It would be great if you can just respond to this one last question. I would have to let my organization know if that's the case.
Sal : I did not make any change to your model. Just used 22.04.00.40.
I am having the same problem. I have a simple gable roof.
I've separated it into two floor groups.
I enter a floor load and click "inclined". And it give me:
"Cannot generate load for command _Roof_East one 0.006 gy inclined"
