When opening a STAAD file in RCDC or trying to open the advanced concrete design module through STAAD, I get the error "Unable to read analysis data". I'm using STAAD CE 22.04.00.40 and RCDC CE 09.02.00.32. I've checked that my loading in STAAD has load types assigned to the basic load cases... it's a very simple single equipment point load on a concrete grade beam. Please advise on what the issue could be.
The STAAD file is attached.

Thank you,
Garrett
RCDC needs the beam to be supported on columns to be able to read the data. Since in your case the beam is directly on FIXED BUT supports, the software is not able to read the data. There is however a very simple fix. I added two dummy column members under the supports ( with a material having low E & zero density). The analysis results would not be affected by the modification and the model would be read by RCDC. Modified file is attached for your reference.

Sye - thanks for the quick response. I'm still getting the same error though. I've tried opening your version of the STAAD file, running the analysis and then trying to open RCDC through STAAD as well as tried linking the STAAD file through RCDC when creating a new project. I also tried changing the "dumby" columns you added to 2.5ft dia concrete columns and supporting those with fixed supports. That resembles the grade beam on pier connection, however it didn't work. My updated file is attached. Additional thoughts?

Regards,
This model should work fine. It is the version of RCDC that is causing the issue. Please get the latest version (09.03.00.25) installed and I am pretty sure this would work.
Sye -
I'm updated to RCDC version 09.03.00.25 now and I'm still having the same issue with the _v1 file previously referenced. Any other ideas?
Hi
I have updated the original STAAD model which can be read in RCDC.the member forces in both the models are same. Please find attached updated STAAD file, RCDC file (09.03.00.25) and result comparison for your reference.Beam result comparison

please try this and let me know if found any issues.
