Use of design parameter 'TFA' (Tension Field Action)-Staad connect, AISC 360-16

Question

Can any body please guide for the use of design parameter 'TFA' (Tension Field Action) in staad connect edition for design code-AISC 360-16? 
 When is this applicable and for which kind of members?

This is used for shear strength calculations. If you refer to the Chapter G of AISC 360-16, you will find guidelines on how the shear strength of the web is calculated depending on whether Tension field action is considered or not. The TFA parameter is used to tell the software whether to consider tension field action or not.
