Hi
I have added a new section to the data base. but i am getting error in the input data .
how to resolve ?
MT-100.std
When adding sections to the existing databases, you need to follow the same nomenclature as used for the existing sections in the database. The Name could be anything but the STAADName has to be in line with the way the other sections in the table are named. For example for the RHS table you need to specify the section to be something like 150x100x4RHSMT
thanks alot Sye,
I have another question. I have done a built up section. and imported to STAAD. But when I send the file including all subfiles to other engineer to review he gets error when running the STAAD, stating the tables are not available. Attached picture. when I run it on my PC everyhting is fine.
How can I send the file for review on another PC when I have added built up sections using the wizard ?
You need to provide the user the .UPT file which you use. The .UPT file should be located in the same folder where the .std file is saved. Also, instead of using a full path of UPT file in the input file, use the UPT file name only. If you are struggling with this, please attach that model and UPT file here.
Find attached , we tried on another PC it was ok but gave 25 warnings stating noDFF although its there. 4578.STAAD.rar
