I wanted to replace the lateral bracings from level 6 m and above with the metallic sheeting, 6mm or more. I have added the plates of thickness 6mm to simulate the sheeting and by adding intermediate

RE: Can a metallic sheeting replace the bracings to resist the lateral forces - seismic forces and wind forces, to add stability of the structure?

You need to perform the design of the members to see if the members are passing the Eurocode check. If you are trying to design a steel plates, I am afraid that this cannot be done by the software, at least STAAD.Pro. You would need to check the stresses at the steel plates manually.

RE: Can a metallic sheeting replace the bracings to resist the lateral forces - seismic forces and wind forces, to add stability of the structure?

I have a silo weighing 60 tons at 6m from ground level, till 6 m I have intended to use bracings and above 6m I have only access at 15 m so I wanted to skip bracing with sheeting.

RE: Can a metallic sheeting replace the bracings to resist the lateral forces - seismic forces and wind forces, to add stability of the structure?

Which application are you trying to use?
