Notepad++ Editor has many software languages highlights in it, so when you open a file with a specific extension, it will highlight in different colors the syntax of the file and you can read the file better and unfortunately STAAD Pro is not available. I was looking for an .xml file for STAAD so I can import in Notepad++, so I can see STAAD files in Notepad++ the same color coding I see in STAAD Editor.

Thank you for posting this. It would have been great if Notepad++ can display STAAD file with syntax coloring. But since, STAAD file formant is not based on a programming language, it's rules cannot be represented through a XML file which the Notepad++ can understand.
Just to let you know, the coloring and intellisense (the list you get by typing 'space') which you find in STAAD Editor are obtained through complex inbuilt business logics based on backend database and runtime data. And all these we cannot have in Notepad++.
