I have two shared BRBF columns that are not calculating expected capacity forces of the braces. I've tried a number of items to make it work, but I haven't had any luck. It is saying "no compression on column" and "no tension on column." The most confusing part is I have similar frames in the other direction that look to be calculating properly. I was having difficulty getting those to calculate as well, but it was at least running a check.
Any thoughts? These are multi-tiered frames to support a bridge, with SMF above.

We will check the model in our latest build to see if it's the same. We made some changes in this part of the program for SBCFs which are similar.
Thanks. I generally found the issue existed even with beams shown there. The beams were removed to make the unbraced length of the columns accurate. I was able to get it to calculate properly when I made only the frames lateral elements and none of the other members.
In the BRBF Special Seismic code checks for columns, the program is looking for recognizable brace configurations in order to perform the summation of the brace forces above the column that is being checked. Your model has braces intersecting the column where there are no beams (K frames) which I think causes the problem. I'll check if there is a simple solution, though a hand check of that column using the brace design forces would work meanwhile.
