Question

I am getting this warning: 
 WARNING: For member# 1 the profile has been selected from HSS Rect/Round (A1085) tables of AISC database. Weld type is considered to be Submerged-arc-weld. Thickness reduction has not been done. 
 Is there a way to remove this warning from the output file or is there something I can change to get rid of this warning? I understand this warning has no affect on the results and I would like a "clean" output file that doesn't have any warnings.

There is no way to get rid of this warning if you are using the AISC 360-10. The only indirect way would be to make a copy of the analysis output file (ANL file). Right click, choose open with and use apps like Notepad or Microsoft Word to open it. You would then be able to take out those warnings. However you may have to work on the formatting. 
 The other option is to use the AISC 360-16 code in which case, the warning would not be there. However as you mentioned, this warning has no effect on the results and is meant to make the user aware of what the software is doing.
