Hello Everyone.
I create a dummy beam with density=0 and E=0 (Figure.1) then I assign the beam (Figure.2) then Staad Error occurs( ***ERROR*** MATERIAL NAME MUST NOT CONTAIN ANY BLANK SPACE)(Figure.3), What is the solution?
Spaces in material name is not allowed. You can rename the material as DUMMY instead of DUMMY BEAM

This error occurs when I assume E=0 (**ERROR** ELASTIC MODULUS (E) NOT ENTERED FOR MEMBER/ELEMENT/SOLID NO. 34). What is the solution?
If the intention is to use a dummy beam with negligible stiffness, use a small non zero value as opposed to 0.
Does this warning affect me? (** WARNING ** A SOFT MATERIAL WITH (1.0 / 2.172E+08) TIMES THE STIFFNESS OF)
If you use a very soft material ( low E) or a very stiff material ( high E) you are going to get the warnings. These are aimed at making the user aware that abnormally low (or high) values of material stiffness has been used. If such use is intentional, then you may simply ignore the warnings.
Thank you a lot.
