I have a steel warehouse design with tapper sections. The combination were defined by myself using edit rules in load generation. After the unity check and redesigning sections, I went to Connection Design. Here when I select the knee connection for the column rafter joint (column and rafter both are tapper section), an message appear saying tapper section is not tappered. And the connection is not assigned.
How I solve the issue.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of STAAD.Pro (22.05.00.131). I tried defining a MEP Knee BCF connection between a tapered column and a tapered beam(rafter) and it seems to work. If you are using the latest version and still facing the issue, please upload the .std file and indicate the connection details ( member numbers, what connection you are selecting ) and we will look into it.
I am using 22.04. And still facing the problem.
Please use the latest 22.05.00.131. I have already tested it in this version and found it to work.
