  • Hi Seth, I am having the same problem that TLiebhold had!.

    I had already, uninstalled, installed...

It is a new notebook with no other Revit version installed, only the 21.

    Thanks

    Gustavo

PS: I was able to install in another machine (an old one) that has Revit 2019/20/21 installed...

  • Several people are experiencing a problem with the ISM Revit plugin.

We are still trying to find the problem.

Meanwhile these are some good steps to help with diagnosis.

    1. Does Synchronizer 11.01.02.09 work to view an ism.dgn file (sample files here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\ISM\Sample Files)?
    2. Is the ISM Revit plugin v11.02.00.14 installed for multiple versions of Revit or only one?
    3. Were prior versions of the ISM Revit plugin uninstalled first (this is advised)
    4. Does the Bentley menu appear in Revit?
    5. If so, do you get the same error accessing the ISM Revit link Settings?
    6. Is the Bentley Property Catalog Service running? If not, check the Local Group Policy for System cryptology (details below)

    Checking the service:

If you have the Windows System Cryptology: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for… Enabled:

Then ISM Revit plugin will fail with this error

  • Hi Seth!

    1- Yes it is working

2- It is installed only for Revit 21 (I only have this version on this new computer). As I said before, I was able to install (I did try to export, but I didn´t receive any error message) on an old computer

    3- Yes

4- No, it doesn´t appear... but it appeared on the old computer

    6- It is running

I could not find the log file...

    Thanks

    Gustavo
